Sodium bicarbonate ( baking soda ) is used in chemical engineering, non-ferrous metallurgy, food and light industries, medicine pharmacy and in retail trade.

Sodium bicarbonate is not toxic or fire  – hazardous and non-explosive. Sodium bicarbonate is packed up in polypropilenes 40 kg bags. Drinking soda is sold in 500 g packets that are stocked in piles enclosed in shrink film. The mass of the pile is 15-20 kg. Sodium bicarbonate is shipped by all transport means (exept by air) having a cover.
